We bridge the gap between
science and collective impact.
People and data have the power to change our world. And while data is good, numbers alone won’t transform communities or transcend the status quo.
Harnessing the power of quantitative data with the rich insights of community members, Woodson Insights helps clients use research and evaluation to tell a more compelling story and create lasting change.
We know each research project is unique. That’s why we curate our services to meet those unique challenges and varying timelines.
Research + Design
We help clients capture the essence of their work. As a thought partner, we design tailored research projects and use data storytelling techniques to answer important questions. This includes focus groups, in-depth interviews, observations, photo journaling, and surveys to help identify the most effective approach for a given population.
Training + Capacity Building
We train teams to bring results-based thinking to their work through research and evaluation workshops. These can be standalone or incorporated into the evaluation process. Topics cover culturally responsive and equitable evaluations, focus group facilitation, qualitative analysis, data storytelling, and how to design program monitoring tools.
Evaluation + Strategic Planning
We create data-driven program evaluations that determine strategic direction. With approaches that center on the voices of those most impacted, our evaluation and strategic planning approaches reflect our commitment to equity and social justice. By collecting meaningful, accessible, and actionable data, we help spark evidence-informed decisions that foster system changes.
